Paragraph Properties

Displays the Paragraph Properties box, which allows you to change the format of the current paragraph. The current paragraph is the paragraph which contains the text cursor or a selection. You need not select the entire paragraph in order to format it.
Paragraph PropertyDescription
StyleSelect the style you want for the current paragraph from the drop down list. Your options are: Normal; Headings 1 (largest) through 6 (smallest); Address (italicizes the paragraph); and Formatted.

Formatted inserts the <PRE> tag which allows you to preset formatting without using HTML tags within the beginning and ending <PRE> tags. With the <PRE> tag, you can achieve the effect of tabs and other spacing. However, the text is only displayed in Courier font.

AlignmentSelect the alignment for the current paragraph:

Internet Explorer: Select default or centered.

Navigator: Select default, left, centered, or right.

Surrounding AlignmentIf the alignment of the current paragraph is "default", this paragraph may be effected by the alignment of surrounding text. This line indicates if surrounding text is aligned left, right, or center.
